It happens again. The emotions are taking over you. As if a storm is raging in your heart! You are trying to repress them, to hold them, to dull them You don’t want to feel, you don’t want your heart and soul to be rend by memories, disappointments, fears and dissatisfaction. You feel weak and helpless, but you don’t want the world to see you falling apart. You are afraid to share with others, to tell them that inside you are broken and that is why you bear! You stay silent and you pile up the pain. But in moments like this, the suffering is way too much and you feel incapable of controlling it!
And there you go, you reach out for food again. You hope that the escape from yourself will READ MORE
Every time when we have a problem, we usually search for a complicated solution. We search everywhere, besides at the most obvious places, just because we think it can’t be that simple. This is true for our health. When we have a health problem or some kind of pain, we look for all kind of innovative treatments and pills, instead of turning to the most approachable- our own body, the way it moves and functions!
Nowadays, almost everybody is complaining of ankle pain, low back pain, knee pain etc. We “compete” with each other, who is gonna buy more pain killers or who is gonna go more times to physical therapy, desperately trying to relief the pain. But is this even necessary?
My observations show me that the bigger per cent of people who feel this kind of pain, do not need such treatments! The only thing you need is to educate yourself about the way your body functions, the way it moves THE RIGHT WAY and to determine what muscle imbalances you have, after which you should work out in a way to remove them!
Muscle imbalances are one of the main reasons for the pain you feel! Muscle imbalances are what contributes for your bad posture, walk gate and the concomitant pains!

How often do you turn yourself in an emotional sufferer to the way people treat you? How often do you play the role of a victim, just because you think that “life isn’t fair”; “that you ran out of luck”, “that other people are being mean”?
Lately I notice the tendency, that people really like it when somebody is feeling sorry for them. You smile at them, and they stare back at you, frowning, as if the end of the world is here. They explain you how terrible their life is and when you give your best to give them hope and optimism, they keep on insisting how you don’t get it and how in reality their life is just a big burden!
And I… I understand these people. I was there once- on the path, when you think that pain and suffering are something you should identify with. You think that pain and suffering define you and that if you don’t suffer, you are not trying hard enough!
How often do you judge others? I stopped doing that! One of the “rules”, which leads me in life is to treat others, the way I would have wanted people to treat me, when I was on the same stage of my life.
The other day I was READ MORE
It’s time for a new recipe! I am sure that most of you think that in order to prepare a delicious dessert, you are supposed to have at least half of your day to cook it! Truth is that healthy recipes, that consist of just real food, usually could be prepared without baking them. They get ready in no time and they are soooooo tasty!
Today the recipe is for delicious apple slices. Don’t pay attention to the picture! I just didn’t have my camera, to take a picture of my apple slices, so this was the only pic I found on google.

As I was just reaching to the door-knob of the gym, I heard some groaning and sighing from the other side of the door! I entered, and I saw the usual… a guy, that had loaded the bar, with more weights, than the iron could handle itself, trying to squat I guess? But it looked more like he was trying to injure himself!
I enjoy seeing people with proper technique, load the bar, and lift really heavy. But I never understand, people, that look more like warms, battling for their life, when they are under the heavy bar! That is why, today I will talk about how heavy is too heavy! Or in other words READ MORE
If you ask a family member or a friend, what you are supposed to do, in order to lose some weight, what do you think would be the first advice they’d give you? To eat more vegetables and fruits, right?
And because not many people get excited by the thought of eating cucumbers and peppers, when their stomach rumbles, you are probably gonna eat mostly fruits!
In the media and especially in women magazines, there are constantly some kind of a new magical diet, which encourages you to eat mainly fruits. Not that I am an opponent to fruits, but I am definitely not ok with you turning fruits into the staple of your diet!
In my opinion, fruits are the kind of food, you could eat, whenever you feel like eating something sweet or something different. Some fruits, like berries, could be a part of your daily menu, but the rest of fruits, are not recommended in excess on a daily basis!
Even, when I didn’t know anything about healthy eating, I had some kind of an instinct and the idea of eating too much fruit, never appealed to me! It neither made me feel good, nor gave me the strength to be active, neither helped me achieve my body composition goals!
And because I am sure that most of the women, who are followers of the apple diet, the cherry diet, the watermelon diet, will start explaining me how healthy it is to eat more fruits and how this is the way to get a nice, fit body!
BUT, I intend on telling you why things are not exactly the way, that you’ve been taught, they are ,for your entire life!

What is the first and most important condition, for an exercise to have an effect on your body?
In case, that you can’t remember, I will remind you that in order for an exercise to have the desired effect on your body you should perform it with PROPER TECHNIQUE!
As a whole, even the best training program, could seem ineffective, if you are not performing the exercises with proper technique!
As you know, squats are one of my favorite movements and my heart is tearing apart when I notice somebody performing them wrong! In case that you haven’t mastered the squats yet, check out this article( SQUATS: Why It Is a Must to Do Them and How to Perform Them Properly) and get busy practicing them!
Today, I want to raise the topic about another exercise, that in first sight is really simple, and everybody from the 4 year old boy, to the 80 year old grandpa is trying to perform, yet most people perform it wrong! And the exercise is the push-up!
Before I started educating myself about training and nutrition, I was also one of people who thought that the more READ MORE
1.I am outside all day long and there isn’t any healthy food
This is my “favorite” excuse! Let me ask you… you can buy croissants, and put them in your bag; you can buy a sandwich and take it for later; you can buy pop tarts and take them with you… then what is stopping you from preparing good, quality food at home, and then storing it in Tupperware and taking it with you for later?
Every time, when I know that I am not gonna be home all day long and there isn’t a place, where I can buy good food, I prepare it at home!
I don’t get it, why you would be ok to take out of your bag a croissant or a sandwich, but you READ MORE
„Likewise, there is no difference in the person who intends to do things differently and the one who never thinks about it in the first place. Have you ever considered how often we judge ourselves by our intentions while we judge others by their actions? Yet intention without action is an insult to those who expect the best from you.” Andy Andrews
What did you intend to do yesterday? And what about last week? What did you intend to do today? Or I may better ask you, how often, do you really take actions to carry out, what you intend to do?
I also have moments like that. I play a plot in my mind, with the things I want to do; what I plan to achieve; the tasks I have to complete. Sometimes I spend more time thinking about READ MORE
